During a university project at the end of year Berghaus offered us the project of designing a framed child carrier. After speaking to potential consumers and sales staff the products universal selling point was born.
The Leben was designed to appeal to consumers who are trying to look after the earth. Using materials like PLA and Recycled Nylon Fabric and using timeless colour ways enabled the product to have an increased lifespan. As well as this the carrier can be used as a regular rucksack even when a child is not being carried.
After the project Berghaus invited me to their Pentland office in North London. They shortlisted a small amount of students and gave us the opportunity to present our work to them on the 22nd April 2015.
